On the afternoon of April 28th, the 292nd session of the Economics Forum was successfully held at the Jianhu Lecture Hall. The forum invited Associate Professor Peng Jiachao from the School of Law and Business at Wuhan Institute of Technology to deliver a special report titled "Selecting Topics, Writing, and Submitting High-Quality Economics Papers – From the Perspective of a Journal Editor." The event attracted over 60 faculty members and students from the School of Economics.
During the presentation, Professor Peng provided an in-depth analysis of creating high-quality economics papers from multiple dimensions. In the segment on "How to Write an Excellent Economics Paper," Professor Peng drew upon his extensive experience, using practical case studies to impart valuable techniques to the audience. He emphasized crucial aspects such as the innovation of research topics and the scientific rigor of research methodologies.
Professor Peng then conducted a detailed structural analysis of typical economics papers, providing attendees with a clearer understanding of effective paper organization.
