Fouad BEN ABDELAZIZ: Strategies for Successful Collaboration with European Business Schools and Insights into High-Quality Journal Publications

At 14:30 on June 25, the 300th Economics Forum was successfully held in Jianhu Lecture Hall. Fouad BEN ABDELAZIZ, Distinguished Professor of NEOMA Business School and Director of Master of Science in Business Application of Artificial Intelligence, was invited to be the keynote speaker of the meeting, who shared his experience of international research cooperation and international journal paper submission, mainly focusing on the field of supply chain management. The meeting was hosted by Prof. Liu Pingfeng from School of Economics, and more than 60 teachers and students participated in the exchange.

    Prof. Fouad began by sharing insights on conducting academic research. He emphasized that doctoral students with certain research training should maintain consistency in their research themes and avoid changing fields easily. In terms of obtaining international cutting-edge information and tracking the progress of the field, Prof. Fouad pointed out that international conferences are key platforms for obtaining information and making academic connections, and encouraged all of us to actively participate in order to broaden our horizons.

    Prof. Fouad then focused on the field of supply chain management, explaining the role of technological advances (e.g., blockchain, AI, machine learning) in reshaping research and practice in the field. Combined with his own research results, he gave an in-depth analysis of hot topics such as sustainable supply chain, resilience and risk management, and digital transformation. Finally, Prof. Fouad shared his experience of submitting manuscripts with his personal experience, especially emphasizing that journal selection is a key link that affects the whole submission process.
